With the game's release a mere week away, Danger Close has released the multiplayer launch trailer for Medal of Honor Warfighter. As expected with military first-person shooter trailers, there's a lot of shooting and explosions going on.
Warfighter hopes to differentiate itself from you everyday shooter by putting the emphasis on Fire Teams and pitting players against a "blue vs. blue" situation where players can choose the country they want to represent in the game.
Here's the official description and trailer from EA:
Choose your global Warfighter and dominate online with your Fireteam buddy in customized multiplayer battles. Six classes. Eight real world locations. Twelve international Warfighters. Thirty-five map mode combinations. Thousands of Fireteams.
Based on what you've seen, will it be good enough to stand a chance against Black Ops 2 or should EA already be counting its losses? Medal of Honor Warfighter is scheduled to ship next week on October 23 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Meanwhile, the current king of the FPS throne — Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 — is set to be out on November 13 for the same platforms.
Which game will be your multiplayer military shooter for the year? Or will it be neither and you'd rather choose Halo 4 instead?
