Prey, developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, is set to launch on May 5, 2017. The video game title is a re-imagining of the original 2006 Prey developed by Human Head Studios. Being that there is plenty of hype surrounding the upcoming title, Bethesda has alerted fans of an upcoming event which will be taking place in a few select major cities.
Reported by Den of Geek, Bethesda is teaming up with GameStop to promote Prey. Overall, the event will take place in select cities that features an Alamo Drafthouse theater. It’s within these theaters that gamers can purchase tickets to watch a series of sci-fi action films that served as a major inspiration towards the development of the featured video game title.
The featured films include Moon, Starship Troopers, Total Recall, and The Matrix. While gamers can purchase a ticket to watch all four films, there will be separate tickets that will allow gamers to view select films only.
Although there may be incentive to buy a bundled tickets as there will be a free Prey poster designed by Mondo and artist Tomer Hanuka given to those who do.
