Pokémon Go Reaches 650 Million Downloads
With a total of 5.4 billion miles walked.
Niantic labs announced that Pokémon Go has reached the 650 million download mark at the Game Developers Conference yesterday in San Fransisco.
As reported by Polygon, this is a huge step up from the 500 million reported in September 2016
Niantic also stated that in search of Pokémon.
Pokemon Go was the most downloaded app of 2016, and they’ve managed to maintain momentum through innovation and expanding the Pokémon universe.
Just recently, Pokémon Go added 80 new Pokémon to the Pokedex, and announced that the game will soon be introducing trading and PvP battles.
Pokemon Go is now available for iOS and Android devices.
