Following the announcement a month ago that the creators of the well-regardedĀ Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod were developing a similar mod for Just Cause 3, the teamĀ has shared a video showing the progress they’ve made in that time. This is good news for anyone who wants to cause carnage on the island of Medici with other players.
The Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod video which you can see above showcases the impressive work the team has made with regard to rotation synchronisation and vehicle movement. It’s pretty smooth and quite promising for those looking forward to using the mod.
When released, the Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod will be free, just like its predecessor and offer a range of customised dedicated servers for users. You can try out the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod by downloading it on Steam.
Just Cause 3 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There’s currently no release date for the game’s multiplayer mod but at this point, it certainly looks like it’ll be worth the wait. Last month, developer Avalanche announced that it will continue to support the game with updates and DLC. The first new content released for the game will be called Sky Fortress and is included in the game’s Air, Land, and Sea Season Pass or purchased the game’s XL Edition.
Avalanche has playtested all of the game’s upcoming content and will provide additional updates on what to expect and when as soon as they’re ready.
