Take-Two Interactive has announced plans to report the financial results of its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2013, which ended on March 31, 2013, after the market close on May 13. The company will hold a conference call to talk about the results, which will also be available as a live webcast.
Previous investor calls yielded the announcements of new games in development at the publisher and other details about their plans. The publisher is expected to reveal what they're doing with the XCOM franchise, which may have just seen the cancellation of its FPS spinoff a couple of days ago. The game, which was originally slated for a late 2012 release, was delayed to 2013. No further updates were released until the closure of its website late last week.
In addition to their plans with the XCOM series, the publisher may have something to announce about Grand Theft Auto 5. The game is scheduled for a 17 September release on current-gen platforms. Thus far, Rockstar has neither confirmed nor denied whether it will bring the game to platforms outside of the PS3 and Xbox 360. Fans of the series hope that the publisher will announce a decision to bring the game to the PC and to next-gen consoles including the PlayStation 4.
