Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Is Now Available on PS4

And so the Jak and Daxter Remastered collection begins.

Sony keeps on adding titles to their PS2 repository, with the latest addition being Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. You can pick it up on your PS4 or via the PlayStation Store’s website here.

Releasing way back in 2001, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy was the first game in the series which introduced gamers to the duo,  Jak, a silent 15-year-old boy and his best friend Daxter, a loudmouth mixture between a weasel and an otter.

The game, like other PS2 classics, is currently priced at $15. The PS2 games have been updated with Trophy support and are upscaled to 1080p. The download is also just under a gig, so don’t worry about leaving your console on overnight.

‘Experience Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy™ with 1080p up-rendering and Trophies. Additional enhanced features include Shareplay (active PS Plus membership may be required), Remote Play, Activity Feeds and Second Screen support for game manuals with PS Vita or PlayStation App.
