Interstellar FPS Morphite Goes Multi-Platform This September
Low-poly science fiction, mouthwatering mystery.
Inspired by classics like Turok, Metroid Prime and Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank, atmospheric FPS Morphite is a real time combat experience that’s nestled right against the stars. You play as a low-poly explorer, flying through the universe, a young woman on a spiritual journey in search of a barely extant material called morphite.
Developer Crescent Moon Games lets players explore untouched corners of space, confront alien life-forms, and solve a wide array of puzzles in fresh, procedurally generated environments. Beyond that, there’s also resource collection, space trading, suit upgrades to stick it out in tougher conditions, and overpowering bosses.
Morphite’s storyline is fully voiced, bringing protagonist Myrah’s expedition into her past to life in a strange, surreal way. Her tale begins at a space workshop, where her days are consumed by mundane tasks like gathering supplies, but little does she know that her connection to morphite is more than skin-deep.
Morphite is due to release simultaneously on September 7 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
