Middle Earth: Shadow of War Recommended and Minimum PC System Requirements Detailed

Middle Earth: Shadow of War won’t need a crazy rig.

Monolith’s sequel to the Lord of the Rings-inspired title, Middle Earth: Shadow of Warwon’t require a high-end PC, but you will probably need some storage.

The studio recently updated the game’s Steam page with its PC system requirements. The minimum and recommended system requirements aren’t that different, and either way, you probably won’t need to upgrade your hardware to enjoy the game’s maximum potential if you already own an above average PC. Here are the requirements:

MINIMUM:

    • OS: Windows 7 SP1 with Platform Update
    • Processor: AMD FX-4350, 4.2 GHz / INTEL Core i5-2300, 2.80 GHz
    • Memory: 6 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD HD 7870, 2 GB / NVIDIA GTX 660, 2 GB
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 70 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:

    • OS: Windows 10 Creators Update
    • Processor: AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz / INTEL Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz
    • Memory: 12 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD RX 480, 4 GB / NVIDIA GTX 970, 4 GB
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 70 GB available space
