Slightly Mad Studios Reveal Project CARS 2 Set to Feature Rallycross

Project Cars 2 will feature Rallycross.

Slightly Mad Studios is preparing to launch the sequel for their successful racing franchise, Project CARS. The developer recently announced that the game’s sequel, Project CARS 2, is going to feature RallyCross, with its own licensed cars and tracks. This proves the studio’s ambition and promise to make the game much bigger and better than its predecessor.

Rallycross combines the sideways dirt racing action of rally with the highspeed corner carving action of tarmac racing, all taking place within a closed course with 70-foot jumps, obstacles, and with other drivers in close proximity.

However, Slightly Mad Studios isn’t doing this alone, since they managed to sign Honda Factory Global Rallycross racing stars Mitchell deJong and Oliver Eriksson as authenticity consultants. Project Cars 2 is expected to release later this year for consoles and PC.
