23 – Clear for Infiltration

  • Welcome a new enemy type: the walkers. These robotic sentries patrol in a linear path, always straightforward, and kill any hapless augmented agents they step into. Like drones (and guards) they can be destroyed by attacking from any (non-face forward) angle.
  • Unlike guards, walkers take one step forward every ‘turn’ — whenever Adam Jensen moves, these bots move too. That can make them difficult, you’ll need to predict their movements.
  • For this starter stage, wait in the opening area and destroy the middle walker. Take the upper path and destroy the drone, then use the hack tile to free-up the security tile on the right.
  • With that task done, just walk toward the exit and avoid the walkers.

  • GOLD Guide:
    • Up (1 space)

24 – Left Alone

  • The hack tile are protected by two annoying drones. Start on the left — collect the Cloak and use it to slip by the left-hand drone. Use the hack to clear one security tile, then destroy the drone.
  • Moving right, slip by the walker and reach the open hack tile. Use it to open the second security tile. Now you’re free to smash the last drone and sneak off into the exit.

    • Up (1 space) – Collect the Cloak module.
    • Left (2 spaces)
    • Up (2 spaces) – Use Cloak before crossing the drone’s line-of-sight. Hack the security tile directly to your right.

25 – Hidden Agenda

  • The trick here is simple — use the Cloak to avoid the guard’s line-of-sight. If he spots Adam Jensen, then he’ll hit the hack tile and disable one of your two options; the turret or the security tile. Both lead to failure.
  • Here’s how to solve this one; get the Cloak, hide at the starting two points until the guard moves back. While the guard is returning to his post, go for the lower hack tile.
  • Hack the turret first. If you time it right, you’ll be at the hack tile one turn before the guard returns. Use Cloak to step left of the hack tile unnoticed.
  • With the turret hacked, you can safely reach the second hack tile and disable the security (red) tile.

  • GOLD Guide:
    • Up (2 spaces) – You’ll enter the guard’s line-of-sight.
    • Left (1 space) – Collect the Cloak module.
    • Right (1 space)
    • Down (2 spaces)
    • Up (2 spaces) – Avoid the guard, he’ll now be heading back to his post.
    • Right (1 space) – Hack the turret first.
    • Left (1 space) – Before moving left, use the Cloak power-up to avoid the guard.
    • Up (1 space) – Hack the security tile to open the path to the exit.

26 – Double Agent

  • Walkers are back with a turret backing them up. To clear this stage, you’ll need to use the walkers to your advantage. You can’t hack the turret and the right-hand security tile at the same time. You’ll have to use the walkers for cover.
  • Hack the turret first to destroy the right-hand walker, then hack the left-hand security tile, allowing the remaining walker out of its trapped alcove.
  • Here, you’ll want to use the left-hand walker to block the turret’s line-of-sight. Just remove the hack from the security tile when the walker is directly in front of the turret.
  • Now that the gun is blocked, just hack the right-hand security tile to exit.

27 – Behind Enemy Lines

  • This mission features lots of guards and drones — it all looks more complicated than it actually is. Here’s how to get started.
  • Get to the lower hack tile and activate the left-hand security tile. Then, move up and grab the Cloak module. Use it before destroying the upper drone. You know, the one blocking the upper-left guard’s line-of-sight? You want him to spot Jensen, that way he’ll deactivate the hack tile and trap the right-hand guard in his alcove.
  • Also, don’t forget to stop at the lower hack tile to hack the lower-right security tile. Make sense? If not, just follow the step-by-step instructions below.

28 – All Clear

  • This is a tricky one. You’ll need both of those Cloak power-ups to survive. Start by getting the lower-left Cloak — wait for the walker to clear a path.
  • Once you have that cloak, sneak by the turret’s line-of-sight and hack it. When the turret is hacked, it will kill the guard. Now keep the turret hacked, and enter the guard’s former post to reach the second cloak.
  • Get back to the hack tile and hack the single security tile. Use the second Cloak power-up to avoid the deadly turret, and you’re home free.

29 – Crossed Paths

  • Nothing but a couple of walkers and a turret to stop Adam Jensen this time. This is a fairly straight-forward puzzle. Your goal is to kill one of the walkers.
  • Move down to the Cloak and grab it, then wait for your chance to attack a walker. Keep moving back and forth — eventually a walker will stop where you can attack.
  • One problem… you’ll get shot! Use Cloak before attacking, that way the turret won’t open-up and wreck Adam Jensen’s day.
  • With that done, simply wait for a walker to block the turret’s line-of-sight and sneak off to the exit.

30 – Stop the Presses

  • Every enemy type so far appears here, on the final puzzle of Ironflank HQ. You’ll need to use the hack tiles to open access to the two security tiles, then time the walker’s movement to block the guard’s line-of-sight.
  • See that cloak? You need it to sneak by the drone watching the exit path. Use the first hack tile to hack the right-hand security tile.
  • Reach the second hack tile, and hack the left-hand security tile. Now the walker can freely patrol in front of the guard’s line-of-sight.
  • Un-hack the right-hand security tile so that the walker is trapped, blocking the guard’s line-of-sight. If you step into the guard’s line-of-sight at the same time as the walker, the guard will spot you.
  • When you have the cloak, re-activate the blocked security tile and use invisibility to slip by that final drone.
