Dead Cells Skills Spells

Dead Cells is a roguelike-Metroidvania hybrid developed by Motion Twin. Like any good roguelike game there are a bunch of different skills to unlock that make each playthrough feel different.

Skills

Bear Trap

  • Description: Launches 2 traps which immobilize enemies for 6.5 seconds. Increases all damage taken by trapped enemies by 35%.
  • Blueprint: Default.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 7 seconds

Biter Swarm

  • Description: Summons a swarm of small biting creatures to attack for you.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Ugly Worms.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 7 seconds

Ceiling Turret

  • Description: Fires rapidly on enemies passing below inflicting. You need to be close by for this to work.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Thornies.
  • Damage: 52
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds

Cluster Bomb

  • Description: Explodes into 6 mini bombs inflicting damage.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Slashers.
  • Damage: 42
  • Cooldown: 4 seconds

Corrupted Power

  • Description: You deal +70% damage for 8 seconds.You also take +30% extra damage during this period.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Defender.
  • Damage: 60
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds

Crusher

  • Description: Violently crushes enemies in its area of effect.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Spinners.
  • Damage: 200
  • Cooldown: 7 seconds

Death Orb

  • Description: Summons a slow moving but devastating orb of energy.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Meat Grinder.
  • Damage: 100
  • Cooldown: 9 seconds

Fire Grenade

  • Description: Inflicts damage and burns nearby enemies for 3 seconds.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Grenadiers.
  • Damage: 12
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds

Flamethrower Turret

  • Description: Burns nearby enemies for 2 seconds.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Shocker.
  • Damage: 10
  • Cooldown: 6 seconds

Flashbang

  • Description: Inflicts damage and stuns nearby enemies for 2 seconds.
  • Blueprint: Default.
  • Damage: 20
  • Cooldown: 9 seconds

Grappling Hook

  • Description: Pulls an enemy to you. Your next melee attacks on the victim deal 60% extra damage. “Yes, just like Scorpion…”
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Catcher.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 3 seconds

Grenade

  • Description: Explodes, inflicting damage.
  • Blueprint: Default.
  • Damage: 80
  • Cooldown: 2.8 seconds

Heavy Turret

  • Description: Fires on all nearby enemies and inflicts damage. Your own damage is increased by 15% if you are close to the turret.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Slashers.
  • Damage: 60
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds

Horizontal Turret

  • Description: Rapid fires on nearby enemies, inflicting damage.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Zombies.
  • Damage: 40
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds

Ice Grenade

  • Description: Explodes freezing nearby enemies and inflicting damage.
  • Blueprint: Default.
  • Damage: 35
  • Cooldown: 9 seconds

Ivy Grenade

  • Description: Immobilizes all nearby enemies for 3 seconds and inflicts damage while they are trapped.
  • Blueprint: Located behind Timed Door in Collector’s Room.
  • Damage: 30
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds

Knife Storm

  • Description: Launches a storm of knives around you which cause bleed damage for 4 seconds.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Bats.
  • Damage: 40
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds

Lure

  • Description: You disappear for 6 seconds and leave a lure in your place which attracts all nearby enemies.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Defenders.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds

Magnetic Grenade

  • Description: Attracts anything close to it and deals damage.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Grenadiers.
  • Damage: 12
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds

Meat Grinder

  • Description: Inflicts damage and bleeding to enemies walking on it.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Phazers.
  • Damage: 35
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds

Oil Grenade

  • Description: Inflicts damage and covers nearby enemies with flammable oil.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Running Zombies.
  • Damage: 20
  • Cooldown: 4 secons

Phaser

  • Description: You teleport behind an enemy. The damage of your next melee attack is increased by 150%.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Phazers.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 1.8 seconds

Tonic

  • Description: Heals HP and completely protects you for 10 seconds. Single use.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by The Watcher.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: N/A

Toxic Cloud

  • Description: Releases a toxic cloud of poison which inflicts damage for 4 seconds.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Host Zombies.
  • Damage: 15
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds

Vampirism

  • Description: You recover HP per melee hit that you deal for 10 seconds. You also take +75% extra damage during this period.
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Inquisitors.
  • Damage: N/A
  • Cooldown: 25 seconds

Spells

Fire Torrent

  • Description: “Rare, medium or well-done?”
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Fogger.
  • Damage: 112

Frost Blast

  • Description: Freezes enemies hit by the blast.
  • Blueprint: Starter Spell.
  • Damage: N/A

Lightning Bolt

  • Description: Continuously casting deals critical hits. But be wary of too much power… “Join the dark side.”
  • Blueprint: Dropped by Inquisitors.
